CONTROL CHARTS

These charts provide an easy-to-understand visual indicator of process trends and failures.

Control Charts are of use in the:

Measure phase to understand as-is "is the Process ‘Stable’ and ‘in Control’?" as well as trends or interesting observation (as well as variation) in any existing process; and,
Control phase to credibly demonstrate a process improvement statistically-speaking by comparing "as-is" and "to-be".
